Shipping Policy:​
​
Following are the terms and conditions that constitute our shipping policy on all appliances and sanitaryware.

Shipping rates are calculated in accordance to the weight of the product/s, therefore when selecting the relevant shipping rate, and you have purchased more than one item please ensure that you add the weight of the items together in order to be able to select the correct shipping rate.

Shipping rates quoted are in South African Rands.

The prices shown may be subject to change in accordance with the preferred courier’s charges relating to the final dimensions of the package that will be shipped. In the event that this may occur, you will be notified accordingly.

The shipping rates are applicable to National deliveries within the South African Borders. Should you be outside of the borders of South Africa, a special request will need to be submitting via our contact form prior to placing your order

We do not ship defective or damaged products. The above rates exclude insurance of the item/s. and www.banwell.co.za cannot be held liable for any loss or damage during transit. Any claims would need to be made directly with the courier company. In the event that you do have a claim against the courier company please ensure that you keep all packaging materials.

Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or public holidays.

All items are delivered within our 5-7 working day period unless a client requests overnight delivery and will be suitably charged therefore. Items however marked with *** are international imports and carry a 10-15 working day delivery period from time of order.

All delivery times are calculated from the time that the clients payment is reflected in our bank account,which is usually 2 working days after payment.

Delivery will be subject to stock availability. Should a warehouse check show no stock,we will advise you of the option to wait or obtain a refund. The delivery date will be confirmed with you via email.

Shipping charges will be calculated and displayed at checkout. The weight of each product is shown in your cart.

An extra over charge will be payable and directly invoiced should you require delivery within 24hours.

Shipping costs are non-refundable, and in the event that the product needs to be repaired or replaced, all courier costs will be for the customers account.

Delivery Terms:
Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary, the obligation of GTB Luxury Appliances (Pty) Ltd t/a Banwell Luxury Appliances and Sanitaryware (“the Company”) to deliver goods is subject to the following conditions:

Where the Company arranges delivery on behalf of the Customer, all costs associated with the delivery shall be borne by the Customer and calculated at checkout or on a quote. The risk associated with handling the goods transfers to the Customer once the goods are delivered and signed by the client or person signing the receipt delivery docket. It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure they have insurance once the goods are off loaded.

While the Company endeavors to meet agreed delivery timelines, it accepts no liability for delays or damages arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Such circumstances include, but are not limited to:

Delays by the Company’s suppliers, whether directly or indirectly caused.

Changes to the order by the Customer within a period close to delivery.

Delays in freight services beyond the Company’s reasonable control.

Non-payment of the balance due for the purchase on or before the anticipated delivery date.
The Company will promptly communicate any unavoidable delays in delivery to the Customer via email or whatsapp.

​Refund Policy:
The Customer is advised to select goods very carefully. Refunds will not typically be granted if the Customer simply changes their mind or makes an incorrect decision.
Refunds, exchanges, or repairs may only be offered under the following circumstances:

The goods are determined to be defective within the warranty period.

The goods are found to be wrongly described or differ substantially from the sample provided.

The goods fail to perform as intended.
In the event of an item needing refund, exchange or repair, it remains the responsibility of the client to ship the defective items back to the Company for assessment.
Refunds are subject to management approval and may incur a handling fee at the discretion of the Company.
Stock availability:
While the Company strives to ensure all goods advertised on its website or price list are available in stock, it cannot accept liability for any goods that may be unavailable due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, delays from suppliers that are beyond the Company’s control. Customers will be advised via email should a product listed as in stock, being out of stock and the Customer will be given the option of a refund.
In the event of a delay on stock arrival, the delay period will be communicated to the Customer and the option to wait.
Cancellation Policy:
A deposit of 50% of the total order value is required to confirm an order if ordered offline. The Company reserves the right to charge a reasonable cancellation fee in the event the order is canceled prior to delivery. The cancellation fee will be determined based on factors such as the ability to find alternative clients for the ordered goods and the reason for cancellation. Deposits for custom or special-order goods are non-refundable under any circumstances. No goods will be delivered before they are paid for in full.
Warranty terms:
The Company warrants that all sinks, taps and channels supplied to the Customer shall be free from defects for a period of six months, starting from the date of delivery. During this period, the Customer may request a refund, replacement, or repair for goods determined to be defective.
All appliances carry the relevant manufacturer warranty periods which are available on request.
The Company accepts no liability for damages, whether direct, consequential, or punitive, caused by defects unless such damages are due to circumstances within the Company’s reasonable control.
The warranty will be rendered null and void under the following conditions:
• Unauthorized alterations, modifications, or additions made to the goods.
• Failure to use the goods in accordance with the provided instructions or specifications.
• Misuse or abuse of the goods.
• Damages caused by external events such as fire, flood, civil disturbance, or acts of God.
• Failure to provide the original tax invoice when making a warranty claim.
Sanitaryware
• Should taps, sinks, channels and sanitaryware not be installed by a registered plumber, the warranty conditions will be considered null and void.
• In the event of gas appliances, all appliances are to be installed by a registered gas specialist or the warranty will also be considered null and void.
